Piersland House - a stunning country mansion house and an architectural masterpiece with a notable history. The original home of the Walker family of Scotch Whisky fame.

Piersland House has been at the forefront of providing welcoming and hospitality and quality accommodation for Troon and Ayrshire residents and visitors alike for over 50 years. Now known as Piersland House, the original Piersland Lodge was built as a private residence in 1899 by the renowned Scottish architect William Leiper. It was the home of Sir Alexander Walker, grandson of Johnnie Walker, founder of the internationally famous Scotch whisky firm, Johnnie Walker. Sir Alexander was Managing Director of Johnnie Walker Whisky and he created Johnnie Walker Red and Black labels. It remained a family home until its conversion into a hotel in 1956 however it still retains its original country house character today.
